I'm having a doubt about making drawings to create character in blender

Look, I have a question, after a long time working in Blender I get that I have to create the drawings of my characters in 2d for better results in Blender, so far so good, with this need I bought a drawing course, it’s just that I’m having difficulties in making a character of the course from different angles my question is, do I need to draw this character from different angles as shown in the first image or do I just draw the character in the 3 three angles as in last image. Because in blender I can change his pose to any angle or am I wrong, do I need to draw the character from all angles in 2d?
The course only teaches you how to draw, no painting

For building a character in 3D, you really only need Front and one Side view. More views help, but they’re not necessary. See Dikko’s poly building a character on YouTube- his reference sheet just uses front and side
