I’m trying to create tank treads that will move realistically when the tank moves. To do this i have created a track and i used small triangles as tread on the track i want the treads to move realisically so i created a path the shape of the track for the triangles to follow however the triangles with only follow the path once and then stop is there a way to create a circular path so the triangles with never stop, also, is there a way to make just one path for all the triangles instead of making a separate path for each tread, Help would be much appriciated
Try parenting your track to bezier or nurbs circle instead and reshape the circle in the form of the track. If that doesn’t work, look for a tanktrack tutorial by the IceMan on the blender3d site if it’s still there.
