I’ll be stunned if this hasn’t been invented yet.
Is there a phone that translates the area code into the area/country name? If so, where can I get one? If not, I’m gonna make one so dibs on the idea.
P.S. I live in Montreal, Canada and we have most of the stores the U.S. has so feel free to post suggestions.

I have a Samsung a-900 and it tells e the states (US) that are calling. I haven’t had a call from another country on it though.
Obviously you don’t have too many friends from abroad. Every time I get a long distance call I have to pick up because I have no idea who’s calling me, and more often than not, that person keeps me on the phone for hours on end while I shouldn’t have picked up in the first place. I think it’s a great idea, and I’m just shocked that no one even thought of this yet.
