Im looking for a program that allows me to speak into a microphone and my computer translates it and types it on the computer. does anyone know of a program that I can download that has these functions.

Wow, Google translates speech to text…is there anyhting that site can’t do. 
err, what i mean was, that you can find close to anything with google…NOT that google has a speach recognition tool.

Hey I use the school computers for this alright.
Trying to apply some logic to this conversation:
- Person A wants to instal a program on a computer
- Person A claims that he cannot use search engines to search for the program because the computer doesn’t have internet access
- Person A uses another computer to connect to the net
One logical conclusion and one question arrise:

Person A will use a removable media to transfer the program from the computer connected to the internet to the one that is not.

If Person A will be using the computer with internet to download the program, why can’t he use a search engine to look for it?

Tallguy64, I have no experiences with such apps but I suppose the term you looking for is “voice recognition”. So, if you are at school again do the Google with this term and you should find something.
I’d expect that a reasonable program will cost a few bucks, similar to OCR apps.
Sorry I can’t do the Google for you because since I have a broadband connection Google won’t load anymore.
