Im new and i get this error when using....

The Fluid simulations…is says…No fluid objects in scene…aborted…

When i have a big box Domain…and a smaller one inside fluid.

When i press bake btw.

Oh and how do i select and object… becuase now its saying the two of them are domain…and when i make
the box a fluid…the big one becomes a fluid too ?
Plz help

One last thing…How do i select the default box…when i click of fit

i would recommend simply start over again from the default scene, right click on teh default cube, set it to fluid.

create a new cube, resize it to be larger than the first cube, and set the fluid property to domain. Now you should bake without any problem.

You need three objects; a Cube defined as Domain (inside of which the other two obj’s and all calculations will happen), a Closed Mesh defined as Fluid and another object defined as Obstacle (a Plane as a floor or a Mesh shaped like a cup or somesuch). When you hit Bake the Domain Object (the Cube) will inherit the volume and shape of the Fluid Object and do all the dripping stuff. If you don’t like the results of the bake hit LeftArrow till the Cube reappears and reset all your values…
