Image in modeling viewport disappears over distance

Hi,

I am trying to model a bridge in Blender. I have set the basic units to meters. The bridge is a few kms long, so when I zoom out the model in the modelling viewport gets clipped and I am able to see only a small portion of the bridge. Any ideas on why this is happening?

To the right of the 3D view frame, you should have a menu with “Transform” at the top (if you don’t, see if there’s a + in the top right you can click on). Under “View”, there’s a “Clip” setting; set the “End” to some suitably large number.

N-Panel > View > Clip: Increase the end clipping distance.
