Hope this isn’t too dumb, but…how do you “match” still image resolutions with your project resolution? I have a video project that is 1920X1080. I also have several still images that I want to incorporate into the finished video, that are 1920X2718, 1920X1316. All have a resolution of 72. When I place these in the VSE, they appears stretched/squashed?
Would someone please point me in the right direction!?
I have long wondered whether this was a feature of the VSE or a bug. Depending on my needs, I do one of two things:
For a full-screen image: Resize the image in a photo editor (GIMP or others) either by cropping or scaling
For an inset image: Use the Transform Effect Strip: For instance, to put a 640x480 pixel image over a 1920x1080 video, scale the x by .333 and the y by .444 (640/1920 and 480/1080, respectively)
