Images to movies??

I’m working on a very large movie right now which takes a long time to render, so I decided to render it not as an avi file, but as many jpgs. Unfortunetly, I thought I had a program that could compile them into a movie (Virtual Dub) but that doesn’t seem to be working. Any suggestions? I suppose I can render it as a movie and every time I need to interupt it I can restart after I interupted it and merge them together later, but it took me at least 30 hours to render this stuff and I don’t want to see it go to waste. Thanks.

you can do it directly from within Blender with the sequence editor.

There is also a program called ImageMagick that can take images to movie and movie to images and lots more, not sure if there is a windows version, but there seems to be
http://www.imagemagick.org/

if you’r on windows you might want to try out rad video game tools.

Try seaching for it in the knowledge base at: http://helium.homeip.net/support

i saw corel photopaint can break the avi files into images. so it may be possible to do the reverse thing.as i don’t use this software much i do not know much about it.you can check it out!

You might also want to check out the great program “VideoMach.” It can turn movies to images, images to movies, can export avi, mpg, flic, and hav movie files. You can add sound (even mp3) to clips. Convert movies between pal and ntsc formats. Join or break movie files. And much more. I love this little proggie…

Check it out at http://www.gromada.com

Thanks for all the suggestions. I do have Rad Video, but unfortunetly it can’t make avi’s or mpg’s and the files are rather large. I typicaly use it for viewing my own files, but for uploading I try to use mpg’s. I’m looking in to your other suggestions now. Thanks again.

Hi.
Go to my WebSite and Download BLENDERAVI a freeware satellit program to convert a serie of jpgs to avi with any codec (ex: DivX 5.0).
Only for windows.

I use the rad video tools and can make anything with them.

I can make avi, mpeg, divx, every codec installed on my windows system
