Why does it need to be human like? 
The head is very interesting, I just don’t really like the rest of it very much. The torso is just wrong, looks like someone broke it’s back and then it set that way. The legs and arms are enimic to say the least. Try to think about what the creature does, form follows function so perhaps that will lead you to it’s true form? Keep going though!!
