Imp Brawler

Made it a goal to make a model or two a month and experiment.
This one was to play around with topology, I’m really happy how well it deforms and at
only 24,490 tri’s in total.

Hi
Interesting piece but there is big problem, why do you have black character on a black background. Only things that are readable are those emissive parts. It almost looks like thare are floating horns and armor.

That was the effect I was aiming for; This creature is for a project I’m working on, an area where different creatures have very few features that stand out while the rest is a empty void. In short they’re creatures from the dark with certain parts luminescent.

I roughly know what you mean, but in my opinion if you just present it like this it should be more visible. Maybe if you would put it in like scene the way that it is, it could make for a interesting render. For example a lot of xenomorphs you can find on artstation are either in a scene or it’s a render where it’s lit in such a way, that you can read lot of the details easily even though they are completely black most of the time.

Oh yeah I see what you mean i’m definably going to work on making some scenes for it; Especially since these creatures i’m making come from the same area so having something to show where they come from will defiantly help :+1:
