Hello,
New to character animation here.
How do you implement imperfections into a character model for animation properly? So that the deformation doesn’t go bonkers while animating?
Example: Putting finger prints on a character to make them look like they are made out of clay.
Example: Minor defects in the skin.
I’ve seen mDotStrange do it on a lot of his characters in his feature 3D animations?
Should I use a map, model it into the character, etc. ?
Any help is appreciated or if you could even point me to an article that would help. I’m trying to learn about the proper workflow of a 3D animation anyways.
