Implementing pathfinding

Hello BlenderAtist, it’s been a long time. I haven’t used blender for ages but I still call myself a fan. Anyway the past few years I’ve been learning C & C++ (specifically for games) and now that I’ve advanced my skillset I’ve found I can flip through Blenders source code and actually understand what’s going on. And know I’m thinking of implementing functions such as A* to be used in the game engine for agents to access. Thoughts? Suggestion?

Just on a first glance it “should” be fairly simple to update recast.
