Import default hotkeys from 2.76b to 2.77a

Just enough things have changed to be annoying in terms of workflow. Things like alt-selecting in edit mode for rings doesn’t work. :mad: Was wondering where the default hotkeys were. Seems if you save hotkeys it only changes those that were changed by the user, but it presents a problem when some defaults changed with a newer version and you want the defaults from the previous carried over.

I’d have tried “import previous”, but that doesn’t quite work across partitions and OS’s. (Or I’m stumped on how to find or reset it.) I’m dual booting in Mint 17.3 now as XP is no longer supported.

Hi, it is an export function in User Preferences > Input.
Never used it but may help.

That only exports changed settings from the previous. Looking for a way to get the 2.76 defaults into a file. So I don’t keep running into annoying things in 2.77.

I suppose this can be disregarded now. Seems a package update changed the hotkeys again. (And for the better.)
