I have a 3D model I want to use, but it’s not in the program. It was made elsewhere, textures and everything have already been done, and the model is complete. Can I import this model somehow, or do I have to make an entirely new one in the program?
You can import a number of different formats of models. Look in the file menu under “Import” for the list of supported file types. Textures sometimes don’t transfer well, and anything with built in animation is also a problem: you’ll get the mesh, but that’s it.
Sometimes the meshes need a lot of cleaning up, too, once they’re in Blender.
