Import trouble...

Hello guys, I need some help…

I love Coreldraw and I prefer to use it to create complex curves and logos, instead of using Blender curve editing tools.

However, whenever I try to export logos from Corel to Blender, using EPS, AI, SVG, or whatever, logos are not correctly imported to Blender, or even not imported at all. How can I fix this? Is there any workaround for this problem? :frowning:

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, there’s a better script than the built-in one here:

(right-click and save the link that says ‘downloading the script’)

It may also help if you use lower versions e.g. AI version 3. I did an AI v3 and Blender still messed it up but that script above worked perfectly. I think it says it’s compatible to version 10 though.

I used Illustrator to make the files but the format should be the same.

I think I’m going to start using Inkscape. Its curve editing is much more intuitive than Illustrator IMO.
