Hi everyone, Doc Holiday and I have agreed that we should tell everybody what’s been happening.
In the last couple of days Doc has received three emails supposedly from me. He opened one of them, an exe file containing an email worm which infected his system. Thankfully he has cleared it now and I can’t find any trace of it on my system.
Perhaps one of you gurus can tell me if it is possible to pass a worm from your computer via a web based email account. I didn’t think this was possible, that’s one of the reasons I only use that type of account.
Anyway if anyone receives an email from me be sure not to open it as I won’t be emailing anyone without warning them in the private messages first. Also be carefull opening any emails from people on the forum, looks like someone is out to sabatage us.

The real Name is “Bagle.AH” and it’s a Mail-Worm and a Backdoor too.
You can see if the Worm is active on Your System by open the Windows Task-Manager. Hit Ctrl+Alt+del. If You are infected, You find a Task named “sys_xp” which can’t be killed manually.
It places a “sys_xp.exe” to the Windows/system32 Directory. Also two other Files called “sys_xp.exeopen” and “sys_xp.exeopenopen” to the same Directory. Just delete (shift+del) these Files and reboot to remove it from the System.
The Subject of such a “Worm-Mail” is “Re:” or “Re:_”
The Body can be:
Animals
foto3
fotogalary
fotoinfo
Lovely animals
Predators
Screen
The snake
The Attachment can have one of these Names:
Cat
Dog
Doll
Fish
foto1
foto2
foto3
Garry
Secret
And can be a COM, EXE, SCR or CPL File. Sometimes an password protected ZIP.
The Worm searches for a Directory calld “Shared” to disseminate over Peer-to-Peer Programs. If it found one, it put’s these Files in: (Just delete them (shift+del). Do NOT try to open one of these!)
