I’m currently building a golf course for the game Perfect Golf that came in 2016. And it uses, and has to, an older Unity version that is 5.2.3.
Lets say I manage to create, in my case, some scandinavian looking tree objects such as the silver birch and alder trees that are fairly low poly.
Are there any obvious pitfalls I’ll run into. Such as using features that will make the imported object seem broken.
Earlier I tried to import an tree that were in autocad format and it did not go well at all. Followed a tutorial but all I ended up with was some weird looking wireframe that, at best, could be described as an abstract tree.
Could you guys give me some pointers or point me towards the right direction? I would appreciate that.
