Hello guys, I’m sorry if my question is kind of stupid, but still… I found a couple of Blender texture collections, every texture is in .blend format ( like here ). But I can’t figure out how to import such a texture in my textures panel. Would love to get an advice. Thanks in advance!
Those are materials, not textures, so they will be accessible from the materials panel not the texture panel. A texture is just one part of the material.
To bring them into your currently open blend file append the material (shift+F1) http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Doc:2.6/Manual/Data_System/Linked_Libraries
