importing dxf made in autotrace

HI,

Blender allows importing dxf file. I tried importing dxf file made in autotrace.
But it does not open in Blender. No error occur.
Any clue ?
It seems blender only takes 3d dxf files. Whereas autotrace makes 2d dxf.

2d dxf files (at least those created by autocad and vectorworks, don’t know about autotrace) work perfectly when all objects are exploded to single lines.

You can import polylines, too, but you will see them only in editmode because they are imported without edges (vertices only…)
