Importing from Google Sketchup

I just recently got google sketchup (if you don’t know what it is, google it). Its good for making like buildings and stuff like that really quickly, but i can’t figure out how to export it into blender. i’ve tried to export in sketchup to google earth, and then importing it into blender, but it gives me an error message. Anyone got any ideas?
