Importing hammer objects into blender.

OK here is my problem.

I am trying to export a object from hammer as a DXF.I then want to import it into blender. I got this far but when ever i do it i cannot see everything i want to if you get my drift. Its like anything so close to me disappears however far out im zoomed.

Any suggestions? I was told it may be somthing to do with my clipping boarders but im not sure, nore am i sure how to fix it. If you need to see the problem for your self i can e-mail it to you or upload it to a file hosting site upon request.

Some formats import scaled way up. Since scale means nothing in Blender, you could select the imported object and scale it down.

i found this menu before

and changed the clipping end to 1000 (maximum) this made a differance but i could not change it any more as 1000 was the max.

Right i had this idea as well but then remembered the whole reson for my import - i wanted to keep the scale the same as the final thing was intended to be to scale in a game (half life 2)

How about scaling it down by say 1/10 (0.1), editing your object, and then scaling it back up by 10?
