importing purchased 3D scan

I purchased a full length human scan from a place called the 3D Scan Store and they supplied me with two files: an OBJ file which contains the physical scan and a JPG file that seems to contain the skin and cloths colours. I can import the OBJ file OK but have no idea how to put the skin on the model.

I’ve asked the 3D Scan Store but they were not very helpful and simply said they had no experience with Blender - perhaps it can’t be done in Blender.

If you are wondering what I’m doing, I’m a photographer and simply want to play around with lighting effects on the body.

Thanks

Slightly different depending on the renderer you are using. For the default renderer:
Add a material to your object, add a texture slot to the material, add the texture to the texture slot, ensure texture mapping is set to UVs

perhaps it can’t be done in Blender.

This is pretty basic stuff, just search youtube for a blender texture tutorial.
