Importing RED camera data for Blender camera tracking

Hello
I have been able to export acceleration & rotation data from a Red EPIC MX DSCM1 with the intention of seeing if this data can drive a Blender camera. I have attached the file
RED TEST.csv (19.1 KB)

For those interested in getting more info on RED Gyro data export, below is a link

Any thoughts would be very welcome

That data is for handheld stabilization purposes using external gear, maybe can be used in a software but not in a tracking one. What really going to help you for a good matchmove is a lens distortion grid, sensor size and focal distance. Blender works better with prime lenses.

Thank you for confirming the data type. I thought that the acceleration data could be used to calculate spatial displacement …but that is probably an invention in my head.

I have stumbled across

that does not take Red footage yet … but could do in the future.

It seems to exist already …

But I suppose this is not very pertinent on a Blender thread …
