Hi!! May be this is a basic question but i’ve tried almost everything and i haven’t been able to make it work. My problem is the following:
I want to access a MySQL database from a BGE application. To do this i want to import the sqlalchemy package for python 3. When i run python3 from my ubuntu terminal and type:
everything works fine, but if i type the same from the blender python console, i get this error:
>>> import sqlalchemy
Traceback (most recent call last):
File “<blender_console>”, line 1, in <module>
ImportError: No module named sqlalchemy
I’ve tried to set the PYTHONPATH variable pointing to the python distribution included in blender 2.57, but as the default python version used by my system (ubuntu 11) is python 2.7, everything stop working if i do so…
How can i import python packages that aren’t included in the blender 2.57 package?
Thanks a lot for your help.
