Hey all you Blenderheads out there, its been awhile for me to post anything but here is a lil something iv done in the past lil bit. Its a product for a 3d chat program called IMVU. Its actually pretty neat but i like it mainly to submit meshes. Anyway here is the piece. It is low-poly so its not the most detailed model out there and my first somewhat advanced UV mapping experience.
It is cool. But quite honestly 2 things really bother me. first is the background, it seems too busy (maybe a simple gradient would be better?). And second is the cross beams on the handle, they seem textured wrong to me. Great otherwise though.
i know the handle doesnt quite seem right also i have no idea why i did use that background lol, i should prob do a re-render. Otherwise thanks.
