Hey everyone. I’m conducting some testing for a new project with new 4.0, actually I’m coming from 3.3LTS. I don’t know if this a “feature” from previous version or some kind of bug, I can’t find any explanation yet or something similar in the documentation. The thing is the point light radius is actually behaving like a sphere of light with a hard boundary, instead a smooth falloff transition as we have on 3.3. Spot Lights in 4.0 backward spot

In 4.0 Sport lights do also project backwards a small spots. This depend to the size of the spot light, a parameter used to soften the shadow caused by the spot light before. Now all my scenes render different, I get the white round spot on a ceiling where I used a spot light. I often just use them in addition and that will reveal where ever I placed one. Harsher point lights in 4.0?

Hello everyone. So I noticed that in 4.0 the point lights are much harsher, and I found a thread discussing it here. Is there any way to change the point lamp so that the edges are softer? I really hate the new look. I could use an area lamp but I need something that goes in all direction.
