I’m looking to make an interface for my RPG that I’m making. I need a set of buttons on the bottom of my screen that dont move around when my view changes (like WoW or any other MMO) for the spells and the inventory, charactor, options, etc. buttons. Should I be using an overlay to do this? If so how would I do it exactly? Thanks in advance for any help!
You could use a scene overlay with message actuators to communicate with the objects in the main scene. You’ll need python to show the mouse cursor though. Try this really handy resource on how to set that up and for further elaboration on making a good UI.
The link you left was just to www.google.com. I don’t know if you meant to do that or not. I already tried searching for it but i couldn’t really find anything. Please let me know where some resources are. Thanks.
Really? You couldn’t find anything? Hmmm… that’s weird. I got it on the first try. clicky Second link from the top.
