In limbo

Definateley creepy. A nice model. Maybe could use some more…textures?

It looks good, but the background is a little…boring. The pose is nice and dramatic, and so it would be good to complement that with an equally dramatic background. It would be nice to see a little more color in the image. Right now there’s too much greyness going on. If you’re going for black and white, then go all the way with it.

Maybe you’re going for the washed out look, which is cool too, but by itself it’s a little dull. Do some more stuff, like with the composite nodes or something. Maybe gimping it up a bit. A subtle radial blur here could do wonders.

That’s because it’s limbo, people. :stuck_out_tongue:

And the guy is textured. Looks great. The modeling is great, and the texturing–while subtle–is also good. I think the only thing I could mention is that the pose is kind of unbalanced. He looks like he’s going to tip over.

thanks guys, BlackBoe you hit the nail on the head it is limbo so i wanted it to be as minimal as possible so i kept the texture very subtle, i made it just becouse i wanted something for my desktop i think the image makes much more sense if you put it on a big white background on the desktop then you get this sense of this thing stumbling out of the light.

This picture is allmost as good as the song (in limbo - Radiohead)
Really nice modeling and composing, but the strange grey smerk next to his head looks a bit odd

The background is perfect. Regarding the composition, I definitely recognize the goal: to capture the first thing someone might see if they were thrust unwillingly into a dimension which exists only as a prison for the worst kind of monsters…

If it had any kind of background, the scene would be far too tangible.

It’s beautiful.

Well, actually, it’s hideous, but in just the right way.

he’s an ugly fella. i hope that’s not who greets me when i enter the light at the end of my days.

Always great to see a new piece dannybear.

Great work here.

thanks i´m glad you guys like it,
“to capture the first thing someone might see if they were thrust unwillingly into a dimension which exists only as a prison for the worst kind of monsters…” thanks Rocketman i could not have said it better myself.

You know, it’s bugging me. The allusion–I can’t figure out what it’s supposed to be to. Something religious…I want to say Catholic Church, but I’m not sure.

Wow, that’s frightening and funny, lol!
