Incorrect deformation low poly character

Hello everyone,

I’m a newbie with Blender and I couldn’t found any information about this problem (All the tutorials that I’ve seen don’t deal with this kind of mesh).

As you can see when the hips move to one side or downwards the magazine pouches deform in some kind weird maner. I’ve tried to adjust the envelops of bones but no way. I couldn’t fix it.

Anyone can give some clue about how to solve this problem?.

Thanks a lot.

Regards,
CepO.

P.D: Sorry about my english.

Figure out which bones are influencing them, consider giving each a bone of its own then parent that to a body bone.

Or try ‘weight painting’?

Probably the easiest way is to parent to armature with empty groups and assign the verts to the bone groups yourself so you have complete control. Other than that, yes weight painting is good but it takes more time though it can produce nicer results.

Thanks a lot for all of your replies.

As soon as I’ve got solved I’ll post the solution.

Thanks for your help.

CepO

Hello everyone,

As I promised I post the final solution for this problem. I solved it modifying the weight of almost one bone. These weights were assigned by “default auto assign tool” included in Blender. works pretty well but by the way, modelling arms pointing downwards was not a very smart move. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ve posted two screenshots of the weights of problematic bone. Original and corrected version.

Thanks a lot for your help and sorry for bothering you with my english and questions.

Best regards,
CepO.
