I would like to increase the max-frame to 500.000. I found an article to help me with that.

I’m not familiar with how to apply it. I’ve been looking for the file source/blender/makesdna/DNA_scene_types.h on my local root to edit the sourcefile, but did not find it. Perhaps i’m doing it all wrong. Could anybody help me with how to make it work?

Is there perhaps another (read: easy) way to cut my +300K frames sourcefile in half? It is a 50fps file.
Remove segments of a video clip and save the rest, without recompressing.
