Indigo 0.7 test 6 available for download!

Go get it! Now! Bidir has been turned back on, and it has a sweet new GUI as well! The indigo file format has changed from .xml to .igs, but it’s pretty much just an .xml with a different extension.

Ouch! Not working with wine anymore. Does anyone know a fix?

err:module:import_dll Library MSVCP71.dll (which is needed by L"Z:\home\arihayri\programs\indigo_07_test6\indigo.exe") not found

Umm… link?

Thanks…

Gah, Chapman’s using xwWidgets instead of native win32. LOL

Just download the missing files and put them in the same directory as Indigo.

Sweeeeet!
At first I thought you said Indigo had a Gui! Whew, that would be something.:eyebrowlift:

Ah, but I did say Indigo has a GUI.

Great… now what export script are we supposed to be using?

I don’t think there is one for test 6 yet. Still, have fun with the test scenes…

Thanks! That worked. So, works fine under wine

EDIT: It seems that previous exporter (0.7 test 5) works fine. http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/BlenderDev/Indigo_exporter

Quick test with aws357’s nice skull:

How would you turn Bidir on and off with the test 5 exporter though? BTW, test 7 is now out. Fixed some minor bugs in test 6.

The button in the exporter for BiDir actually works!

Ah he, hahahaha! Sweeeeet!

Somewhat of a limited GUI I would say. I’m sure they’ll build on it though.

It’s a lot better than nothing though, you don’t have to run indigo from command line anymore. I’m rendering a CG Sphere project right now, I’m trying to get a good brightness level with the linear tone mapping. Right now the scale is 1 and the exponent is -3.

Wow, this is some really exciting stuff! I’d never even seen Indigo before - it seems to have an incredible amount of potential…

I’m still amazed that it is being actively developed by ONE person. I think the Yafray development team could stand to take a few lessons from Nick Chapman.

Here is the CG Sphere render I mentioned. It’s been rendering for 9 hours so far, and I intend to leave it overnight. White/Black points adjusted with the GIMP.
