indigo testing

I have been playing around with indigo for the last few days, and just wanted to show what I have done… Hope you like :stuck_out_tongue:

rendertime: 5 hrs…

rendertime: on night :stuck_out_tongue:

Nice work, is the image on the chrome ball a hdr map?

yes it is… That scene is only lit with the hdr and the small blue lamp in the extern harddrive

Welcome to Indigo world Tux,

Nice work there, some more rendering time to reduce the noise, but I play with Indigo since several days now and I know, we can’t wait

Another thing, try to use non probe HDRI images, I mean use top half images to avoid the uncorrect reflect in the ball or try to find RAW images as Indigo requires this format for sphere HDR lighting (good luck, I couldn’t find even one).

Thanks enricoceric…

I would had let it to render some more, but I couldn’t wait longer before I should play Oblivion again  I think I will let it render in the weekend, but there is so many things I have to try out in indigo, so we will see

I recently tried Indigo again, and wanted to see how well it could handle high poly counts… So i created a little something in sharpconstruct and let it render in indigo:

The model has about 870.000 polys and it was rendered in 45 minutes… I’m starting to like indigo

oh… and the basemesh for sharpconstruct was the head model from one of the community journals…
