Individual view position for scenes

Hi guys,

It seems that rotation and location of view in 3D viewport is shared beetween scenes. If make something on first scene, switch to second and change view, then when go back to the first, view position is wrong. It is uber annoying. Is there any way to to separate views between scenes?

Also similar issue. When switch on/off local view (slash key), then view is moving (camera moves closer and away). Is there option to keep view at the same place when using local view?

I dont think there is a solution for the first problem. For the second there is a setting in the prefernces.

Not at my comouter at the moment so i can not look it up but i know it is there because i found it annoying as well and changed it.

Edit: it is in the keymap iirc. Check the shortcut for local view. There is checkbox for animation or something like that.

As said I do not think there is a solution for “viewport view”, what I have found useful is linking my complex objects (for example a house) to different scenes and setting up a specific camera for each scene. Like one for inside a room focusing on a specific area and another scene with an outside camera view.

Then you can go through your scenes in camera view.

OK, I see that I must request a feature. Thanks for answers.

Zooming when using Local View may be disabled. You must go to Preferences > Keymap and search ‘Local View’. Expand panel and unselect ‘Frame Selected’.

Edit: For first question I have made a topic on https://blender.community/c/rightclickselect/Eqpg/
