Breakdown

  1. I used a gradient texture and plugged it to alpha and set the blend mode to Alpha Hashed to get a noise look.

  2. Outline created using Solidify modifier, material is similar to main material, but have the same color as the background.

  3. The red/blue brush stroke effect, sun material is similar to main material, with different alpha value and color.

Always interesting what can be done with blender i never eventhought off :wink:.

I really like it! :blush: I can imagine using this technique for book illustrations for example, as it leaves enough room for imagination to fill in the gaps with smaller details.
