That is a rather nice fly. I don’t often say that of flies but this one deserves the recognition.

To me it looks like layer weight passed into color ramp with diff hues, then fed into glossy or metallic principled shader. I’ve used a similar trick for bubbles before.

For a complete rainbow you can just plug layer weight into a hue, it’s good for bubbles:
