Insert a Unicode caracter

Hello,

I want to insert one of the special unicode character into a Text object. As an example, I want to insert an umbrella (http://www.fileformat.info/info/unicode/char/2602/index.htm). What is the right way to do it.

I’m running Blender on a Gnome Linux environment.

Use a font that has the character, add text object, edit mode, delete text, insert a character and replace it with ctrl+shift+U and type 2602, enter.
