Insert Alpha

Hey guys. I know in Blender 2.49b there is an option in the IPO editor to insert an alpha channel for animations. I can’t seem to find this in 2.57b Anyone know where it is? Any help appreciated, thanks!

You mean a materials alpha value ?
Hover mouse over the alpha value and press I or RMB / insert keyframe.
A channel in the graph editor will only show when you add a keyframe for that parameter. Don’t continue thinking in 2.49 methods for adding keyframes

Hmmm… Can I use this in the game engine? I have created an animation that fades it from 0 alpha to full alpha, making it fade in. The animation neither shows up in the viewport with alt+a , or when I set it up with logic bricks and play the game. I have done this all before in 2.49b. What’s the deal with 2.57b??? I am pretty confused.
