I’m having an issue with Blender 2.9.2:
Whenever I try to add an image as plane the software shuts down. Is there something that I’m missing? Is it a bug than can be fixed? Should I upgrade to 3.0? I’m running on a desktop with a Nvidia 1060 GPU, AMD Ryzen 7 3700X CPU.
Please help me as this is very annoying because I really need to add some images to my composition.
Sometimes crashes can be caused by addons. Have you tried disabling the other addons you use? All the add images as planes addon does is setup a UV-unwrapped plane that is the same aspect ratio as the image with a texture that is the image. If you can’t get it to work through the import images as planes addon, you could set that up manually as a last resort.
