Installing scripts?

I found a fun city building script (http://jerome.le.chat.free.fr/index.php/en/) and want to install it into 2.56. I cannot find any documentation on how to do this. Could anyone give me some pointers?

Checking out the page from your link, I’m not seeing any dates, but the images from the latest post show blender 2.4x interfaces… thus I’m assuming that this script hasn’t been updated for 2.5x+ yet. Since its my understanding that the python underpinnings of 2.5x have changed dramatically (to the point that most former scripts DON’T work) its likely that you’ll have to stay in 2.49 to run this one. (Which is just fine, actually.) To run it in 2.49, open the .py file in a text window, then “run” it (can’t remember the hotkey, but it should be an option in the menus.) There’s a way to put scripts in the right folder for them to show up in the regular scripts location, but I can’t recall zigactly how thats done ATM… just search for it.

Once your script is run in 2.49, just save your file, then the geometry is fully available to 2.5x simply by opening the .blend or importing what you want (via shift-F1) into your scene. No biggie.

Thanks! That will work, much as I hate going back to 2.4, I guess I will.
