Intelligent Trees...

Howdy Peeps,
just curious if anyone can help me with this. Remember in Mario 64 where the trees were essentially a flat plane but would always be facing the camera no matter where it was??? Any one have any ideas how to achieve this with blender relatively eaisily? It would make my work oh so much eaisier!!! :smiley: . I use logic bricks and some python. Any help appreciatedā€¦ :Z

In UV Face Select mode set Billboard option in Editing -> Texture Face panel.

I also achieved this with tracking the object to the camera and giving it a rotation speed. So itā€™s

Always -> and -> Track to camera

(This following isnā€™t, but may be necessary)
Always -> and -> Motion rotate z axis
