i know that you can open links in a browser using the message datablock, but is there anything else you can tell the browser to do, like opening in a new window, have two seperate blender files in one window, one acting as a menu and when you click a button it opens it in the second file?
also it is possible to talk to php or flash?

to answer all your quetions. no. as far as i know all that stuff is not possible. The web plugin isnt that good either, alot of stuff is sandboxed so its not worth using. I was looking for the plugin source code but there is a lib missing, when they get the plugin back (all the source code) im gonna see if i can unsandbox it 
the main thing i want to do is pop open a new window to play avis, is that possible?
