Hello all!
I hope everyone is doing well.
Attached are some Archviz renderings I did yesterday for fun to test my ability to create photo-realistic interiors. Most of the interior details were done previously for other tests, but the challenge was to build out the room and then lay out all the little details in a couple of hours. Most of the interior furniture was purchased on Blendermarket - couldn’t have done this without some fabulous models from 3dshaker, Quantum and Zifir3d. Also used the Physical Starlight/Sky plugin which I think is fantastic for quickly getting good atmospheric lighting. For lighting I added hi-hat downlights, chandeliers, two point lights, and several ‘fluorescent tubes’ that I modeled out.
These renders were done at 4k in Cycles with some at 300 samples, some at 100 with de-noising applied at the end. My biggest challenge here is the scale which is certainly off - because I measured everything by eye. Please let me know your thoughts on how I can improve these. As of now the one thing that sticks out to me is the crappy microwave as I didn’t get much time to model that out. My goal is to produce believable renderings that are well thought-out, well designed, and can fool people into thinking it’s a photo. Thanks for your time looking and commenting!
