Interior Environment Lighting with Blender 2.5x

Simulating a real interior environment in an artificial one can be a daunting task. Bringing out the real emotion in a scene can be a truly difficult. It becomes more so when trying to deal with the subtle shadows that indoor lighting produces.

I have created 5 short tutorials to show you how to set up lighting to depict lighting under the following conditions.
Sunlight
Twilight
Moonlight
Tungsten Bulb
Candlelight

You can see the tutorial by going to

The knowledge therein will give you an insight into lighting your 3D Scenes and the variations you may input to make your renders as realistic as possible. Happy Blending

You may want to re-think selling obviously plagiarized works.

I didn’t want to comment on this but really dude, facepalm. Mostly for the fact that you want to get money from this, plagiarized or not.

they should sue you

Caught! How embarrassing…:o:eek:

You’d think the guy would change the scene a bit, instead of working through the tutorials and claiming the work as his own. I wonder if his little intro bit is copied as well…

Sorry guys,

I can’t see any proof that this is a copyright or plagiarism issue.

  1. The presented tutorials are for Blender not Maya
  2. The scenes content is similar not equal.

Beside that:

Calm down, he did the work of translating the tutorials from one product to another. I don’t think he should charge for it, but he has the right to, and he stole no material.

Maybe, but let’s say he “translated” your work, and gave you no credit. I bet you’d have something to say about it.

that’s like saying I translated a book using a different font.

Anybody remember the lawsuit between “the Verve” and “the Rolling Stones”

Despite having original lyrics, the music of “Bitter Sweet Symphony” is partially based on the Oldham track, which led to a lawsuit with ABKCO Records, Allen Klein’s company that owns the rights to the Rolling Stones material of the 1960s. The matter was eventually settled, with copyright of the song reverting to ABKCO and songwriting credits to Jagger and Richards.

I’ve said my piece.

Wtf did he do to the Blender logo?!??!

…he “translated” it…
