Interior lighting with radiance and blender

Hi there

it’s been a long time since my last post. I was busy trying to get somewhere with radiance and blender. The image was created with a modified version of the radex script. If there is interest I can give more information on how it’s done. The scene does not contain any lights, it has textures, reflections, and radiation. And I did not go for photorealism I know, but for interior lighting studies radiance rules.

There is interest here.

Very nice. Were can I find the script? And what about it is modified?
EDIT:
Ok, here is where I found it. (for everyone else)

Okay

You must be warned again, it is NOT a finished product, but it has a lot new features to the original script:

  • Set time and date and location
  • Adjust quality to medium and play only with the most important radiance parameters
  • Textures are possible, although limited
  • The radiance mkillum type is fully implemented, use it for windows
  • Adjust ground plane reflection value

I found some basic tutorial I have started some time ago, I have too many other things right now to make it really complete, but I have updated it anyway and here it can be downloaded (hopefully)

and the script is here:

Good luck,
