Interior Lighting

I’ve been thinking lately, I really need to get a few interior renders into my portfolio. I figure the first challenge I’ll run into will be lighting, so I’m doing some simple tests to figure out how I’m going to handle it. Any tips would be great if anyone has any experience with this.

What i can tell now right away is that it should be ligher overall, mroe highlights but also more ambient light. You could try simply increasing AO energy + outside light energy.

Remember to render to a .EXR file so you can change the contrast and stuff in photoshop.

Gamma Correction via the compositeNodes could help, I think.
