This is my first time to post on the WIP thread and just wanted to see if anyone had any ideas on how to make this look more realistic.

Looks good. But it could be, that it is to “perspective”. All vertical lines seem to be messed up and that makes it a little bit weird :). That’s extreme, if you look at the framed image at the wall. Try some different camera settings. Richard Marklew mentioned this page from the wiki in an architectural topic.
Thanks for the tip, I will try and fiddle with the camera a little. I see what you mean about the picture on the wall.
the flame on the fire place… just model logs and throw them inside and make a of logs on either side. and lower the spec on the window lighting, just an idea for you look at a window in your house. you can see all of the blades on the blinds
