Interlaced mode not working properly.

Hello everyone. I’m experiencing a little problem, not too important, but keeps bugging me. I love working with stereoscopy, and when Blender included this feature in real time in the viewport I thought it was awesome. However, eventually, I updated to a newer version, and even though the options remain exactly the same, interlaced 3d is not working properly. And I do mean “properly”, because I found out that it is actually working. Let me explain a bit more. When I first upgraded to a newer version (I think it was the latest, 2.78a, don’t remember what version I had before, though) the viewport (from the camera view, of course) was displayed in anaglyph, and it works fine, but when I change to interlaced, it only displays one of the images. At first I thought it wasn’t showing 3d at all, but I later tried rendering an image in this same configuration. This funny thing happened: it looked at first like blender was rendering, but no image appeared in the screen, however, half the way it seemed to restart and this time the image did appear, but in 2d. However, when I saved that very same image by pressing F3, I found out that the resulting image, when opened with the regular image viewer in windows (or any other software, for that matter) IS actually in 3d and interlaced. So, to sum everything up: Blender does render the images, and the 3d does work, but for some weird reason, is not showing in the software itself, and this is only in interlaced mode, others seem to work fine.

My PC specs:

  • Windows 7 SP1 64-bit
  • AMD FX-8350 eight-core processor 4.00GHz
  • 16 Gb RAM
  • NVIDIA Geforce GTX 970

I still can live with it, but if someone could provide me with a solution for it, I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance!!
