Well, I am still working on my Thugs With Pipes, but as the continual hacking out of nearly the same, yet slightly different great-coats was starting to pall a little, I decided to lighten up and take a break. This was something I hauled out in roughly a day or two, I don’t actually know how good it is.
Anyway, anyone recognize her? If she looks different from the official pictures it’s because anime, as a rule, usually defies anything close to anatomy, and people who draw anime suck at drawing anime.
I had to muzzy up the proportions to 1. make her look less weirdly drawn’ and 2. ‘get her eyes to actually fit into her sockets’ because before they were kind of oblong lemon shapes projected onto her skull. She doesn’t have the big mane/chest-fur puff, btw, because if I keep working on her, I’ll do it with Jahka’s new particle system. (Mm, mm. Easy-model, soft-body hair goodness) I did, however, make her tail roughly the right shape, because it will be no trouble at all to shrink the vertices back into the right size.
Anyways. Any input will always be appreciated, and I can get you a wire frame if anyone wants to review my abysmal topology
did u do dat straight from imagination or did u use some reference pictures ? … i hv seen the character somewher but cant quite place it … niceeee modelling btw

Chijos: I couldn’t do it from reference pictures, because the anime is crap art and the pictures were low quality as a rule, and I’m not sifting through pages of hentai in google search to find one good picture. Here’s what I mostly had to work with.

Something in the style or character design kinda clicked, so I decided to work on her to take a break. Yeah, if I keep working on her. I might try rigging her next time I get sick of making different leather hoods. XP
