I was just wondering what everybodies internet speed is. mine at home goes UP TO 28.8 kb’s:mad: . this is cause i have the two worst internet combos ever. i live in the country and i have People Pc :-). the one i have in school,(i’m not in collage, im in 8th grade, but i’m in an Alternative school and i have a PC at my desk.) it goes 100 mb’s:cool:

You think your internet connection is bad? I download at 3kb a second. I’m in the same situation you are. I live in the country, I have really old phone lines, and getting high speed by sattelite is too expensive (60 USD a month).
sometimes, on bad days, i download at under 1 kb! mostley it is 8875 bytes
Can’t you use gprs via your cell phone? I often use it with my laptop when I’m not at home/office. A simple bluetooth dongle to connect the laptop to the phone and Bob’s your uncle! A gprs connection runs between 60-90kbps in my country, I’m sure its pretty much the same everywhere.
my speed can range between 20kb and 120kb. I live in a forested and snowy area so it all depends if it snows. today I had to scrape off snow from the dish just to get it to work!
Hi you can try Scanmyspeed.com to test the speed of your internet connection and if you find it to be slow again then you can contact your provider…check your connect speed frequently so that it will help you to find whether the speed is high or low…
