I like to place an Empty to the intersection/projection of 2 objects axis, so that rotation of one object with reflect the position of Empty. 
are newer versions get any tools to implement this ?
I am also curious about a faster way of doing it but I think I’d go with tinycad addon to find the intersection then add the empty.
